Become a part of our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Recovery Specialist forConnections, a new BHN program located in Greenfield MA!

Recovery Specialists support the growth, independence, and safety of the individuals served, providing guidance and direct counseling as needed and acting as a role model to others. In addition to individually assigned responsibilities, such as room checks, house laundry, etc., they may facilitate diverse client groups depending on experience. Supervisors are available on site or through on-call system to assist with crisis situations in program. Recovery Specialists complete program specific forms, documentation, and progress in a timely and thorough manner. Recovery Specialists may need to go to pharmacy to pick up medication Recovery Specialist will report any program-specific safety and maintenance concerns. They attend and participate in staff meetings, in-services, and other mandatory trainings. Personal and/or professional knowledge associated with incarceration and recovery from substance miss use a plus.

Connections is a 32-bed co-ed program that provides residential rehabilitation services as an alternative to incarceration to adults 18 years or older who are involved in the justice system and struggling with issues related to addiction.

Recovery Specialists at Behavioral Health Network have the following qualities:

• Commitment to client empowerment and growth, human rights, and community integration. (required)
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent (required).
• Valid Driver's License (required).
• In successful recovery for two or more years, if applicable (required).
