Engage and support adults in recovery to take charge and grow with Behavioral Health Network!

Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Recovery Specialist at BHN\'s My Sister\'s House! Recovery Specialists oversee the activities of individuals served and complete tasks necessary to the upkeep of the program, such as food shopping and transporting individuals when needed. Recovery Specialists also complete timely and accurate documentation and provide crisis intervention and emergency services, as needed. Finally, they work collaboratively with the Program Director and Clinical Manager to ensure the quality of services, participate in staff meetings and trainings, and adhere to the requirements of licensing and funding sources.

My Sister\'s House currently has weekend shifts available on Saturdays (mornings, evenings, and nights) and Sundays (mornings and evenings).

The goal of the My Sister's House program at BHN is to serve women ages 18 and up, including pregnant and post-partum women and their infants, who are working to recover from addiction and improve their lives. BHN employees at the 24-hour long-term program serve the women by providing a range of services including counseling, educational services, living skills training, parenting groups, and more.

Recovery Specialists at Behavioral Health Network have the following qualities:

  • Weekend availability (required).
  • One year of experience in substance abuse treatment environment (required).
  • Knowledge of DPH Bureau of Substance Abuse Regulations.
  • Commitment to client empowerment, human rights, and community integration.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Valid driver's license (required).
  • In successful recovery for two or more years (required, if applicable).
