The Recruiter I will identify and deploy recruitment strategies in order to develop a pipeline of potential candidates for multiple business lines. Conduct thorough interviews of candidates that include extensive review of work history and interests, compensations earned, as well as behavioral interviewing tactics in order to make best match.

Principal Responsibilities
The Recruiter I will:

  1. Source, screen, interview and facilitate hiring of qualified candidates for assigned openings, which typically are for hourly through entry-level professional positions.
  2. Assess candidate fit by conducting thorough screening utilizing tools and techniques developed/approved by recruiting management.
  3. Maintain key contacts and relationships with recruiting sources.
  4. Establish, cultivate, and maintain ongoing relationships with potential candidates in order to grow pool of referrals, maintaining and updating records of prospects on an-ongoing basis.
  5. Assist with implementing souring strategies through online web resources, direct sourcing of resumes through efforts such as resume string searches through online engines, and direct mail campaigns to identify candidates.
  6. Promote Shirley Ryan AbilityLab at a variety of recruitment functions such as job fairs, university and college career days, and career events targeted for special populations. Cultivate applicant attendee relationships, identifying possible talent. Coordinate interviews from attendee lists.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships among diverse, multifunctional units throughout the organization.
  8. Perform all other duties that may be assigned in the best interest of the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab.
