Job Description

The Recruiter is responsible for executing the full lifecycle of talent acquisition, from posting and sourcing through interviews and offer closure, and handoff to Human Resources for on-boarding. Responsible for building and managing robust pipelines of viable candidates for positions within the Applicant Tracking System (SmartRecruiters) while maintaining compliance to OFCCP and US Department of Labor regulations.

Job Functions

  • Promotes SGS by recruiting, identifying, and maintaining prospective passive and active candidates to build a strong professional network, with the end goal of placing candidates in job specific roles at SGS work locations.
  • Organizes and manages initial recruiting meeting with Hiring Manager(s), and identifies necessary job duties, education & experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, and budgeted salary.
  • Creates job requisitions in accordance with SGS and applicable regulatory guidelines.
  • Attracts qualified candidates through compliant internet postings, direct networking, newspaper
  • advertisements, campus recruiting and attending targeted industry events and/ or career fairs.
  • Sources resumes, conducts phone screens, conducts interviews and refers candidates to hiring managers
  • Updates and maintains applicant tracking system per process and regulations.
  • Performs reference checks on selected applicants.
  • With management approval, negotiates, creates and presents job offers to potential new hires.
  • Performs administrative duties as assigned.
  • Assists Human Resources department as needed.
  • Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in HR or related field of study (Required)
  • Work schedule requires you to come in one to two days a week.
  • 3-5 yrs of experience as a full cycle Recruiter OR equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of 1 year of university degree (Required)
