The Regional Field Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the administration, supervision, training and quality control of Field Maintenance Technicians and specialty trades Technicians in their assigned market(s). This position is responsible for ensuring proper productivity levels, use of company mobile devices and correct usage of software and applications and may manage up to 20 direct reports across multiple trade specialties such as HVAC, painting, landscaping and general maintenance.

Responsibilities -

• Manages daily work of Technicians, including reviewing of daily schedule, assisting in problem-solving field issues, ensuring the quality of work meets the standards set by the Company and that jobs are properly documented
• Plans, develops and implements strategies to improve new processes and systems for improved efficiencies and increased profitability; maintains a cycle of continuous process improvement
• Maintains and improves a training program for technicians and continuously provides ongoing training
• Adheres to and provides oversight of a quality control program to evaluate technician performance; serves as a quality control manager of assigned schedules to ensure that assigned work is within scope and areas of operation; ensures that staff follows the company standards when replacing components in Company owned properties
• Audits inventory levels to ensure that proper tools and supply levels are maintained to successfully complete work orders; researches new suppliers for tools, supplies and parts; serves as a subject matter expert in HVAC, painting and landscaping to reduce assignment rates of work orders to 3rd Party Vendors
• Ensures that the organizational systems, programs, policies and procedures are implemented as required; ensures that repair and replacement costs follow the proper guidelines for approval; Reviews maintenance activity reports and financial statements to track progress of short and longer-term goals and objectives; takes corrective actions as needed; maintains open lines of communication with internal and external partners to insure the best use of assets and personnel

Requirements -

• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in related background, including proven management and comparable leadership roles required
• Experience includes:
• Use of tools, materials, methods, and practices used in maintaining residential properties
• Understanding and application of occupational hazards and safety methods
• Knowledge of construction and general maintenance practices
• Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience, managing direct reports required
• Valid Driver's license required
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required
• Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) preferred
