Role: Regional Finance Manager



Location: Anywhere in the Northeast Region (Boston, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, or Baltimore)

Summary:

The Regional Finance Manager is a key business partner to the Regional Vice President, Regional HR Business Partner, and the regional operating team. The Regional Finance Manager develops the financial strategy that is aligned to the operational strategy of the region while also leading regional financial planning & analysis. The role is a valued member of the CFO’s organization.



Responsibilities:


* Team leadership


* Establish clear and concise goals for the team aligned to company goals
* Clear and frequent communicator ensuring team members are engaged and aware of organization goals and aligned to strategic outcomes
* Attracts, develops, and retains talent by cultivating a culture of learning and continuous improvement
* Business Partnering


* Establish regular rhythm with the Regional Vice President to align strategy and financial performance
* Establish rapport with the Regional HR Business Partner, Regional Sales and Marketing Director, as well as regional operations leadership to ensure alignment of financial goals and action plans
* Financial Planning & Analysis


* Develops variance analysis to explain monthly performance driver
* Evaluates trends in data to identify opportunities for improvement
* Forecasts revenue & EBITDA using market demand, backlog, and cost
* Build a connected financial plan that is tied to the long-term strategic plan.


* Develops annual operating plan including income statement & balance sheet and a branch/region level including capital asset & headcount
* Develops long-range strategic forecast at the branch/region level inclusive of the market outlook and capital asset needs to meet market demand

Education and Experience


* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* 7+ years of experience in accounting and finance, including 5+ years in a managerial role.
* Experience in construction, equipment rentals, or related industry preferred.
