Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM - 5 days/week

REQUIREMENTS:
- Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia
- Bachelors Nursing Degree
- Min of three years as a professional RN
- Two or more years in Infection Prevention & Control preferred
- Certification in Infection Control (CIC) required within 3 years of employment. Must maintain certification.
A DAY IN THE LIFE INCLUDES BUT NOT LIMITED TOO:
- This Infection Control RN will work under the direction of the Coordinator of Infection Control as a member of the Infection Control Team in the implementation of the Infection Control Program
- Contributes actively to the control, prevention and surveillance of infections throughout the health care system in an effort to maximize patient outcomes and improve the health of the communities we serve.
- This position will survey patients in the neonate, infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric age groups.
- Employee performs clinical duties in accordance with population specific guidelines and adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as outlined in policy and procedures.
