Remote eCommerce Architect (Optimizely) Founded over 20 years ago, we are family-owned and privately held leading arms manufacturer in the US. We build the world's most accurate and durable products by making every component in-house and using our own robotic finishing line aiming to better serve our customers.

We are actively seeking an eCommerce Architect who has experience with Optimizely / Episerver to take the lead on web architecture, strategy, design, and planning. This person will contribute to hands on development as well as build and manage a team of 5.

What You Will Be Doing * Design the technical landscape that will support the eCommerce roadmap participating in the strategy

* Understand existing enterprise architecture and collaborate with IT to design and build scalable solutions

* Work with UX Designers to ensure solutions enable us to meet/exceed customer expectations

* Supervise the eCommerce engineering team including front and back-end developers

* Participate in day-to-day development work acting as the senior most developer

* Identify and propose new technologies, techniques, solutions, and experiences that will advance our eCommerce business providing sustainability, security or competitive advantages

* Ensure architecture documentation is accurate and up to date

* Guide Delivery team and stakeholders in scoping, sizing and prioritizing initiatives

* Identify and communicate trade-offs in cost / timing, performance and scalability of solutions

What You Need for this Position * 5+ years of eCommerce Design, Development, and Architecture experience (B2C preferred)

* Experience in web development

* Experience managing others

* Experience with Optimizely / Episerver (we're migrating away from Magento)

* Experience with a hybrid cloud model (we use AWS)
