Beacon Hill Legal is searching for a Senior IP Litigation Paralegal for a Remote Position with a Chicago based IP Boutique law firm.

This is a full-time direct hire position and over time will be expected as needed. Some travel may also be required.

The IP Litigation Paralegal will be responsible for managing all aspects of complex litigation from inception through trial, including eDiscovery support and support throughout appellate proceedings. The litigation paralegal will be expected to handle the following:

• Oversee all aspects of complex litigation from inception to post trial activities
• Assist in the preparation litigation documents including notices, motions, and pleadings
• Trial preparation and attendance in both jury and non-jury trials in Federal courts.
• Preparation and set-up for Markman hearings.
• Manage documents in several databases both internal and external to the firm
• Prepare deposition notices and subpoenas; organize, maintain and prepare deposition materials, exhibits and summaries; track depositions.
• Preparation for fact and expert witness depositions.
• Coordinate and manage large scale document collection and production.
• Bluebook, cite check, and proofread briefs.
• Thorough understanding of court rules and filing requirements.
• Legal research via LexisNexis and/or Westlaw
• Knowledge of Pacer and ECF filing procedures; draft and prepare documents for service and e-filing in federal jurisdictions.

Qualified candidates will have 10+ years of substantive commercial litigation experience including trial attendance. IP experience is required, ANDA is preferred. Must have strong skills in Relativity. The firm offers opportunities for growth and the Senior Paralegal may be expected to train and mentor staff and junior paralegals.
