One of the largest public accounting firms in Westmoreland County, is seeking qualified candidates to fill a staff accountant position. The successful candidate will be responsible for completion of tax engagements including at developing and maintaining client relationships; and strict adherence to firm policies and AICPA and PICPA rules, regulations, and codes of ethics.
What You Will Be Doing Summary: Responsibilities include supporting multiple clients from a wide variety of industries such as; construction, technology, hospitality, nonprofit, distribution, and real estate. You will have a large amount of responsibility in each engagement you are assigned along with supervising less experienced associates.
What You Need for this Position 1.) 2+ years in public accounting
2.) Licensed CPA or working toward obtaining CPA license
3.) Working knowledge of GAAP and GAAS
