Alliant Energy has an outstanding opportunity for a Renewables Developer to join our team!
In this role you will be a significant contributor to a team leading our clean energy transition focused on the development of large and small scale utility renewable projects. You will be our ambassador to landowners and communities while initiating siting, land acquisition, stakeholder and public outreach while building partnerships for renewable facilities, battery energy storage systems, and related balance of plant equipment.

This position offers a blend of working from home, and in theCedar Rapids, IAorMadison, WIoffice on average 2 days per week. Travel throughout Wisconsin, Iowa, and Minnesota is estimated to be around 30%. The successful candidate must reside in either Iowa or Wisconsin.

Job Qualifications
Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree with an emphasis in Sustainable Systems, Renewables Development, Real Estate or related degree
• 3 years of related experience
• Renewable developer experience preferred, along with ability to deal with subcontractors and cross-functional teams; recognized as having expertise in a particular area of the discipline.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels within the organization and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to use computer software programs (e.g., e-mail, word processing, spreadsheet, and project management).
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse work environment.
• Demonstrated ability and confidence to present alternatives and constructively influence the decision making of others.
