Job Title:Research AssociateDepartment:CCC | Analytical Cytometry

This is an opportunity to become involved in the one of the most cutting-edge areas of cancer therapy - Immune Oncology, to learn and use the newest technologies, develop the most marketable skillset in laboratory science, while working with an exceptional team of dedicated and talented scientists.

The Research Associate:

• Participates in planning, design, execution, and management of research projects in a shared resource laboratory focused on immune profiling of IO clinical trial samples.

• Participates in developing and implementing goals and objectives of studies.

• Designs and executes complex laboratory experiments.

• Performs advanced molecular and cellular assays (spectral flow cytometry, single-cell proteomics/genomics, highly multiplexed tissue imaging, spatial transcriptomics, etc.).

• Collects, analyzes, and interprets research data.

• Assists with development and implementation of new and/or revised research methodologies and techniques

• Tests experimental designs, sampling techniques, and analytical methods and makes recommendations for utilization.

• Assists in establishment of controls, criteria, and research standards.

• Performs critical analysis of literature relevant to research being undertaken

• Assists in the preparation of research papers and manuscripts for publication and presentation at national and conferences and workshops, and in the writing of project reports, articles, and other documents.

• Coordinates laboratory activities and work assignments of postdoctoral researchers, graduate and undergraduate students, and laboratory research staff.

• Oversees and coordinates periodic maintenance and testing of laboratory equipment

• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Education Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; Master's degree preferred.

• Minimum years of Relevant Experience required: 1-3 years.

Hiring Range: $42,700 - $56,900
