Although we are currently in the North American market, we see great opportunity to expand our markets. To support this, we are currently looking for a Risk Reporting Analyst.

You will be reporting to the Group Reporting and Exposure Management Lead within the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) department. You will support the coordination and preparation of all risk-related reporting for the group as well as legal entities and branch offices around the world and work closely with the Group Chief Risk Officer (CRO), ERM team and regional risk representatives to ensure cohesive risk communications to all internal and external stakeholders.

You will be required to have strong organization and communication skills and will have interaction with multiple other functional areas including underwriting, finance, compliance, legal, claims, actuarial, technology, and senior management.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Act as steward of the group's risk management framework by maintaining and communicating policies, procedures and other ERM resources
  • Lead the coordination, preparation and maintenance of ERM work products for the group such as the governance protocol, own risk and solvency assessment, risk register and other risk policies
  • Organize, harmonize and modernize risk reporting across the group through the risk reporting community and the development of a risk reporting catalogue
  • Support responses to regulatory and rating agency requests for the group and its various legal entities
  • Track regulatory developments and work closely with legal and compliance to ensure fulfillment of all requirements
  • Actively contribute to various ERM initiatives including ad-hoc reporting requests, internal and external audits, risk trainings, etc.

Work Experience and Qualfications

  • College or university degree
  • At least 2 - 4 years of experience in financial services in a risk management, reporting or compliance role
  • Knowledge of the (re)insurance industry is advantageous
  • Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to periodically operate with tight deadlines
  • Strong networking and communication skills
  • Proactive self-starter
  • Capable multi-tasker with strong prioritization skills
