The RN Skilled Nursing Float Poolis designed to help fill short-term needs within our long-term facilities in the Capital Region. This is a new program offering great flexibility to bring compassionate and driven nurses to our residents!

What you will do:

• Work as needed and as available at a minimum of three (3) sites in our Long Term Care Division (St. Peter's Nursing and Rehab Center, Our Lady of Mercy, Schuyler Ridge, Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center, Heritage House, Eddy Village Green at Cohoes and Eddy Village Green at Beverwyck). Bedside nursing and/or Supervision would be required for those in this role.

What you will need:

Required:

• A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of New York
• 1 year or more of recent experience as a RN in a long-term care facility
• Associates degree in nursing
• Work 3 shifts between 3 locations every four weeks
• Cannot hold a concurrent position within this division

Preferred:

• Supervisor responsibilities as a RN
• Registered Nurses in the float pool must possess a passion for caring for seniors and demonstrate a respectful, caring, professional demeanor
• Registered Nurses in the float must have excellent communication skills, keeping in contact with direct manager and leadership at the assigned locations.
• The RN must have excellent time management and organizational skills
