Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for ensuring seamless guest experiences? Join our dynamic team as a Rooms Controller and be at the heart of delivering exceptional service to our guests. As a Rooms Controller, you'll play a vital role in coordinating and optimizing room assignments, ensuring smooth operations, and maximizing guest satisfaction.

With your high energy, enthusiasm, and exceptional organizational skills, you'll be responsible for managing room inventory, coordinating with housekeeping and front desk teams, and ensuring accurate room statuses in our property management system. Your ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the smooth functioning of our hotel and create unforgettable experiences for our guests.

Qualifications

  • Review group resumes (contracted rooms blocked, VIP notes are in, Amenities set up)
  • Block and coordinate VIP arrivals
  • Review Arrivals Resort and ensure all notes are updated and rooms are blocked as needed.
  • Set up 3rd Party Routing
  • As needed respond to 3rd party guest messages/requests
  • Review all arrival requests and ensure housekeeping has items delivered
  • Review no shows
  • Review direct billing for all arriving reservations
  • Fix any oversell and Contact Guests when needed
  • Coordinate Site Visits
  • Review all out of order rooms with engineering for updates
  • Assign PM rooms for Engineering
  • Assing DC rooms for housekeeping
  • Review all Que (Guest on Property) rooms and coordinate with housekeeping
  • Communicate and follow up with housekeepers and supervisors of rooms to be cleaned and special requests.
  • Dispatch calls to Engineering, GSS and other Housekeeping employees via Hotsos/Relay
  • Report room status into property management system.
  • As needed follow through on guest complaints and requests regarding room services and ensure the appropriate follow-up with the guests.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping when lost & found items returned to front desk.
  • Attend Resume Meeting
  • Bilingual a plus
