Position Pay Range:

This range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to geographical location and experience.
$134,437.00-$215,099.00

Summary:
Generate new sales and add-on sales revenue through the creation of unique and compelling value propositions, messaging and positioning documents, and presentations that align CSG with our customers' go-to-market strategies and that position CSG as the preferred provider in our target markets. Identify opportunities within new and existing account bases to increase bookings and revenue through the sale of both products and services while ensuring customer service levels are met. Assists management in the development of regional sales plans and strategies and is responsible for the creation of account and pursuit plans for assigned opportunities. Recognized as an advanced individual contributor. Subject matter expert with additional experience and/or education in the field.

Position Details:

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and implement strategies that enhance business performance in CSG's target customers. Demonstrate thought leadership in the creation of effective strategies that will overcome significant objections and successfully secure significant customer investments in CSG products and services.
  • Through prospecting, cold calling, and relationship building, create and manage sales opportunities within new and existing accounts and work collaboratively with internal resources as needed to close new business and ensure successful implementation to the customer.
  • Teach customers unique insights about how our products can help them compete in the marketplace and deliver ROI, tailor messaging to each decision-maker across the organization, and influence the sales process while overcoming objections and customer aversion. Develop advocates and relationships across the customer organization that can assist with building consensus on behalf of CSG.
  • Lead the sales process to include the following activities:
    • Creation, presentation and sales of a complete value proposition for CSG solutions
    • Negotiation of pricing and contractual terms
    • Development, writing, and delivery of sales proposals from initial inquiries and RFXs through the final negotiation of a commercial agreement.
    • Management of pursuit team including internal stakeholders, subject matter experts and third party partners.
  • Track economic and industry trends as well as competitive threats and understand their implications on CSG's target markets and existing customer base. Shares knowledge and insights with both internal and external colleagues.

Required Skills/Preferred Skills
  • Minimum of 7 years of formal field sales experience within CSG's target markets
  • Holds Director level or above business relationships within AT&T specifically
  • Ability to identify, qualify, and prioritize prospects with demonstrated results while leveraging SMEs to gain credibility with key prospects
  • Executive level presence with the maturity and strategic planning experience to lead large, complex sales opportunities
  • Ability to assess a difficult or complex situation and quickly formulate the correct solution
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate complex sales deals
  • Driven by the desire to achieve/exceed sales quotas
  • Proven track record as a change manager and adept at building high performance partnerships while driving transformational breakthroughs within target accounts
  • Self-motivated and driven with a sales hunter mentality
  • Understands and adheres to all applicable regulations, laws (including the Bank Secrecy Act), card association rule, CSG Security and Compliance standards as referenced in internal policies and procedures including the Information Security, Acceptable Use, Code of Conduct, and other corporate policies. Keeps abreast of all applicable regulations, laws, and policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
