Position Overview:

The Salesforce.com Administrator is responsible for managing the Salesforce platform through daily support, configuration, business analysis, and project work. In addition, the Salesforce Administrator will exhibit knowledge of technology industry trends and apply this knowledge to sales support and operational activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage platform user administration for go-to-market systems
• Support global business operations through requirements gathering, design, implementation, and support of go-to-market systems including the Salesforce platform
• Manage daily technical support queue and assigned development backlog
• Participates in the continuous process improvement efforts related to design and programming of new functionality within various go-to-market systems
• Performs administrative tasks such as creating accounts and profiles, defining fields, maintaining drop-down list values, etc.
• Integrates new functionality from Salesforce.com releases and upgrades.
• Support reporting and analytics that provide feedback on the sales organization performance
• Partner with the business to define and conduct user acceptance testing of new features and enhancements for the Salesforce platform and other go-to-market systems

Required skills:

• 5+ years Salesforce and Sales Operations/Support experience with experience in Salesforce.com administration, Salesforce.com Certified Administrator strongly preferred
• Thorough understanding of the lead to quote process in Salescloud and CPQ
• Experience in CPQ and Sales Cloud configuration and customization with tools such as process builder and lightning flow
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to meet multiple deadlines
• Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities
• Team player who works productively with wide range of people and personalities
• Strong aptitude for effective cross-functional collaboration
• Effective listening, communication (verbal and written), and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Understanding of integration platforms similar to Boomi or Mulesoft
• Understanding of deployment processes via change sets or using AML tools like Flosum
• Or Copado
• Understanding change management processes and Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Understanding of APEX code, Lightning Flow
• Experience with ServiceNow and JIRA

Compensation:
Alteryx is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Irvine, CA is $86,200-142,000 annually. This position is also remote-friendly and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.

This role is eligible for variable compensation including bonus and stock grants.
