Summary

The Smart Home Salesforce Technology Delivery Manager will be responsible for the planning, organization and execution of all Technology functions for AAA MWG Smart Home division. The delivery manager will be the focal point for architecture, design, delivery and support of the business unit and will support the Smart Home digital transformation goals. This role will be specifically tasked with the ongoing rollout of Salesforce and partnering with business subject matter experts toward integrating and optimizing business operations.

This position resides in the AAA Technology division (IT) and will play a critical role in shaping and enabling business strategies through Technology solutions. The role will lead a team of entry level to advanced level IT professionals and be a peer leader to other leaders in the Technology division. This role will also support/ maintain existing legacy applications and help lead migration to new technology solutions.

Essential Functions

  • Assist in developing the overall strategy for Salesforce for AAA Smart Home.

  • Engage with our current implementation partner to review the state of the Salesforce instance and upcoming deliverables; plan for post project transition to internal team.

  • Articulates the big picture, and questions assumptions of the current approach. Establishes channels for feedback from end users to provide ongoing insight into current design.

  • Understands the impact a process change might have on the system and be able to guide process definitions accordingly.

  • Consults with end-users to analyze and understand user needs, objectives, desired features, and input and output requirements.

  • Supports efforts to grow the platform through new applications and technology as needed.

  • Identifies opportunities for improvements and assists with the design and deployment of alternatives to implement new initiatives.

  • Builds Salesforce enhancements with a design thinking perspective.

  • Drives system enhancement efforts to completion by gathering and assessing user requirements with stakeholders and providing configuration, development and application support to the teams enabling enhanced productivity, reporting capabilities and collaboration.

  • Ensures Salesforce configuration supports business requirements.

  • Creates and implements processes to identify and translate user's needs to actual software workflow.

  • Leads design, development and implementation of Salesforce enhancements to execution.

  • Leads sprint grooming, scrum and product owner reviews. Project manages testing, user acceptance and implementation.

  • Documents changes made to current systems and ensure test cases, user stories and bug reporting/validation, release notes are created as per SDLC and change management policy

  • Always acts in alignment with the company values.

  • Responsible for the development, management and upskilling of a team of IT professionals ranging from entry level to advanced professionals.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience in running delivery of Agile projects.

  • Completion of full Salesforce.com IT projects from initiation, delivery to support required.

  • Ability to think strategically while rolling up your sleeves and managing details

  • Project management experience desired

  • Knowledge of Service Cloud, Sales Cloud is required

  • Knowledge of FSL, CPQ, Revenue Cloud, Community Portal is highly desirable

  • Experience with applying a design thinking approach

  • Ability to think critically, solve problems, make decisions and build trust across the organization

  • Good understanding of technical equipment and software packages

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Effective organizational, interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)

  • Effective time management skills

  • Experience presenting to business stakeholders

Education & Experience / Licenses & Certification

  • 5+ years of hands on Salesforce experience

  • One or more Salesforce Developer Certification is required

  • Salesforce integration experience preferred, including between different business systems as well as working with integration tools

  • At least 2 years experience managing and supervising technical teams, managing vendor led implementations

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer, business or related field, along with a minimum of five years' experience in related role(s)

Work Environment/Physical Requirements

Works in an office environment sitting at a desk, table or computer workstation for extended periods of time. May travel by car, plane or other form of transportation to attend business meetings or conferences. Approximately 50-80 percent of the time spent on the job involves the use of a personal computer.
