What You'll Do

As the Head of Ecommerce, North America, you will be the primary business owner for salomon.com sales and performance in the US and Canada. You will be accountable for ecommerce business growth and profitability as well as supporting an overall consumer site experience that aligns with our brand priorities and strategy.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily:

  • Plan for and deliver aggressive yet sustainable revenue growth for salomon.com
  • Develop and refine regional ecommerce strategy, glide path, and overall business plan for both the short- and long-term
  • Own and optimize ecommerce P&L by overseeing inventory planning, revenue, margins, and expenses
  • Partner with Category, Brand, Operations and Sales teams, both regionally and globally, to support our omni-channel consumer strategy, leveraging salomon.com as a central hub for our consumers
  • Leverage site analytics to monitor and guide actions across teams
  • Plan and optimize channel-right assortment in partnership with category merchandisers
  • Leveraging both platform data and external trends, work with planning team to drive forecast accuracy
  • Key point of contact with consumer service and warehouse teams to support post purchase experience
  • Partner with global team across areas of ecommerce strategy, buying & planning and site experience
  • Serve as subject matter expert for online commerce
What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7-10+ years of experience in eCommerce
  • Prior experience in the outdoor and/or running industry a plus
  • Involved in building and implementing strategic plans and having responsibility for revenue, margin and EBIT contribution

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present and discuss both analysis and strategy to executive management
  • Willingness to lean in and solve new business problems in support of broader team
  • Experience leading a team and managing a revenue stream
  • Effective interpersonal skills: ability to work in a multi-stakeholder, international matrix environment
