A Large Technology Consulting Services Company is seeking a Security Engineer (Zscalar) in Houston, TX.

Role Description
Hays' large technology consulting services client is seeking a senior-level Zscaler Engineer for a long-term contract opportunity. The candidate will be working as the technical Zscalar SME on various projects with end-clients in Houston, TX.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for Zscaler Web Security platform, working on projects including implementations, integrations, and build-outs
• Configure and tune IT security systems to Zscaler to optimize performance and/or alerting
• Integrate solutions with other technology solutions such as Active Directory, Azure/AWS/GCP, IDM, etc.
• Coordinate changes with NIEs, Validate Policies/Rules
• Identify Policies/rules to be migrated

Skills & Requirements
• At least 10 years of hands-on experience in network engineering, network security, and cloud computing
• Expertise in Zscaler platform engineering
• Experience in configuring Web and URL Filtering policies, Sandboxing, Cloud Firewall, CASB and DLP
• Thorough understanding of Zscaler traffic forwarding
• Strong understanding of security threats, tactics, procedures, and remediation
• Understands a variety of IT products and protocols to integrate disparate solutions
• Previous experience implementing security controls in cloud environments
• Software development (i.e. Python), Linux, Windows, and/or cloud computing
• One or more of the following: Zscaler ZPA Certification; Zscaler ZIA Certification; Zscaler Client Connector - formerly ZApp Certification
