Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Pacific has awarded Dragados JV a $2.8 billion task order - under an $8 billion indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ), multiple-award construction contract awarded in November 2021 to Dragados JV to replace a dry dock at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility at Joint Base Pearl Harbor.

Security Manager

The Security Manager will provide a safe and secure environment by overseeing the development and implementation of the Site Security Plan for all Project areas.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage the operational requirements and administrative functions of all areas of security for all Project areas.
• Accountable for the overall site security installation and maintenance.
• Full security compliance, including tracking the screening and onboarding of all site security employees, maintaining records of background checks, drug tests, and other data used to measure the security team performance.
• In charge of identifying any potential risks or inconsistencies with the process for daily material delivery activities.
• Material delivery will have established protocols for logistics, checkpoints, and security threats which will be strictly measured for compliance to the plan.
• Oversee the maintenance and compliance of all physical security features such as fencing, lighting, CCTV, and checkpoints with a team of security coordinators, inspectors, administration support, and guards that will directly report the current and real time inspections and conditions of the site security.
• All inspections will be documented, and any breaches or threats will be immediately reported.

Knowledge and Skills

• Problem-solving and investigative skills and ability to manage events, emergencies, and critical situations.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Knowledgeable in standard security systems.
• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to travel throughout the project sites to conduct inspections.
• Proficient in MS Office to include Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Required:

• High school diploma
• 5 years of relatable experience in a management position overseeing a project program and leading, directing, and guiding project teams.
• Familiarity with military security protocols, systems, and procedures; preferably the branch of the Navy.

• Must be available to work outside normal hours on an as-needed basis and be accessible for emergency responses.

• Able to obtain a DBIDS base pass.

Preferred:

• Bachelors degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Law Enforcement, Business Management or a related field preferred.
• Direct experience working on a military base or with a military project.
• Certified Protection Professional (CPP) through ASIS International.
