RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking to hire a fully Remote Senior Accountant - Revenue in Acton, Massachusetts (MA).Summary:This client is a medical device manufacturer that is committed to their customers and their health. Great Bonuses, Benefits, etc.The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting processes related to revenue accounting, including the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations, as well as fluctuation analyses.Responsibilities:- Support monthly close and internal reporting process by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations for sales reserves, bad debt and revenue recognition
- Prepare monthly and quarterly revenue schedules such as net sales reports to facilitate financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP
- Analyze monthly and quarterly fluctuations in accounts associated with areas of responsibility
- Assist with completion of internal controls associated with areas of responsibility
- Develop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes
- Work with external auditors to provide required schedules and support, for the interim and annual audit
- Provide support for accounting for new business initiatives
- Assist with various projects and accounting matters and drive value within the business
- Performs other duties as required
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, MSA/MBA a plus
- 3-4 years of public accounting and/or corporate experience at life science entities preferred
- Proficiency with MS Windows and MS Office Software, especially Excel
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Deadline oriented with attention to detail
- Team player and collaborative
- Ability to handle multiple projects
- Experience with SAP a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
