SUMMARY
Working independently, the Senior Analyst, Treasury will be responsible for preparation, presentation of, variance analysis and maintenance of the Corporate short-term cash /liquidity forecast. In addition, the associate will provide analytic support for Treasury group leadership team, as well as Ad-hoc and project, and ongoing department analytics and reporting. The Senior Analyst, Treasury Forecasting & Analysis will responsible for the 3rd party treasury system's (G-Treasury) daily support and maintenance. The associate will also serve as a back up for other treasury operations when required. The Senior Analyst, Treasury Forecasting & Analysis will report directly to the Treasury department leadership. Associate may interact with his or her supervisor several times a week, to receive guidance and feedback. Some non-routine activities may require a supervisor's advance approval. This role requires maintaining knowledge of Corporate, departmental, commercial banking policies, completing audit requests, and ensuring compliance with all.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for preparation, maintenance and reporting, and presentation of GME's Corporate cash forecast
Responsible for identifying trends, investigating variances as well as timely and precise communication to Sr. Finance leadership team VP Strategy, Asst. Treasurer, VP Financial Planning, & VP Tax)
Routine (daily) interaction with GME's Senior Finance, Tax, Accounting, and Operations leadership teams
Lead all Treasury group analysis and reporting for all new and existing projects and ongoing reporting requirements
Responsible for G-Treasury system administration, maintenance, and reporting
Work closely with Accounting to ensure accurate and timely reporting of cash operations, fees, and variances are recorded properly via G-Treasury
Manage and comply with all month end closing processes and procedures as it relates to Debt and Investment accruals and month-end variance analysis
Assist with Debt compliance reporting process and tracking
Liaise with internal and external auditors
Identify improvement opportunities, generating ideas and implementing solutions

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from and accredited 4-year college or university in Accounting, Finance, or General Business strongly preferred; MBA and /or CTP certification a plus
At least 4 to 7 years of hands on Treasury operations experience required
Previous Treasury Management System(s) utilization required; supervisory experience a plus
Hands-on experience with major online banking platforms required
Cash management, banking, analysis experience with a multi-national Fortune 500 Company with retail and multi-unit operations preferred
Advanced Excel skills required; Pivot Tables, V Look-ups, Macros, Hyperion Data Base
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES
Astute knowledge of all phases of treasury operations, including banking, liquidity management, bank accounts and structure
Proficient knowledge of office computer platforms and applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Ability to initiate and respond to work errors in a professional manner, working collaboratively and cooperatively with others
Expert ability to communicate effectively with others using written and spoken English including the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback to team members
Proficient project planning skills, including the ability to organize, prioritize and control job responsibilities in order to meet deadlines in an environment with overlapping and potentially conflicting priorities
Ability to comprehend and adhere to all GameStop policies, including those related to scheduling and attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and honesty and ethical conduct
Understand and accurately follow policies, procedures and controls
