RESPONSIBILITIES:

A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Senior Application Software Engineer (Business Intelligence) in Austin, Texas (TX).Responsibilities include:

• Create Data Science Projects and Data Modeling using R, Python, and SQL
• Unit, Integration, Regression, Performance Testing, and Post Deployment Validation
• Collaboration, Interact with Project team members

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Services, Business or related field with 5+ years of related experience
• Strong Data Science, Advanced Analytical and Programming skills with 5 plus years of experience
• Data Scientist, Statistician, Software Engineer
• Python, R, SQL, Teradata
• Teradata or another relational database; Communication skills
• Experience using statistical computer languages (Python, R, SQL etc.), Teradata, SQL Server, or other relational database required; Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts required
• MicroStrategy, Power BI, and Cloud native databases (like snowflake, redshift, Teradata vantage) preferred
• JupyterHub and related tools experience Preferred
• Exposure to cloud native databases like snowflake, redshift, Teradata vantage and Business Intelligence tools preferred and a huge plus
• Health care background is a big plus

• Cloud Experience
• JIRA
