Job Description
The SBM, Cetaphil is responsible for leading and executing parts of the Cetaphil portfolio, including contributing to the brand strategy and annual brand plans for the TTL Cetaphil brand.

The SBM will lead a team of marketers (typically 1-2 ABMs or Brand Managers) to drive annual plans that reflect the brand equity and deliver top-line and profit growth. The SBM would partner with key cross-functional teams such as sales, category management, analytics, finance, regulatory, legal based in the US. The SBM is fully responsible for their portfolio including strategies and execution of tactics such as TV, PR, Digital as well as Consumer Promotions and In-Store activation.

Job Responsibilities

  • Help lead the development of an overall Cetaphil brand strategy, including specific segment strategies for those segments they lead
  • Responsible for the segment P&L including all line items down to profit (EBIT)
  • Responsible for deep brand and competitive insights and performance to inform relevant and differentiated brand strategies and tactics
  • Coordinate and collaborate across functions such as sales, legal, regulatory, finance, analytics to deliver programs, measure programs and make recommendations for changes to the plans based on learning
  • Contribute to marketing plan strategy and development (including media, PR, social and digital) and implementation and tracking
  • Contribute to consumer promotions and shopper marketing program strategy to drive in-store activation including displays
  • Partner with the Innovation Launch team to launch innovation that drives growth and is sustainable long-term
  • Contribute to marketing inputs/plans for customers for Cetaphil such as line reviews and top to tops; attend key customer meetings
  • Lead bi-monthly/monthly reporting to Director, Cetaphil Marketing and broader Consumer Leadership Team as needed on segment/brand performance and financials
  • Coach and develop direct reports. Positively influence through leadership of indirect reports
  • Other duties as assigned


Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college/university required
  • MBA preferred
  • 7+ years CPG or OTC health care industry experience working in marketing with increasing levels of responsibility and leadership roles and proven track record of driving penetration and profitable growth
  • Must have 1-3 years of personal care/skin care experience
  • Experience developing and implementing annual sales and business plans
  • Experience managing budgets and expenses; deep P&L knowledge
  • Experience leading 360 communications campaigns across media channels with significant media budgets
  • Strategic thinker with ability to rally large cross-functional teams to drive growth
  • Shows a can-do attitude and are an avid team player
