Senior Director of Supply Chain Management - Food Processing We are a food processing company with plants throughout the south and we need someone to oversee the supply chain management for our plants. You will oversee a team of managers and be responsible for logistics and supply chain management from soup to nuts. So we really need someone intimately familiar with the issues facing a food processing company and is ready to come in and take charge. This role is on site, in person at our Tyler facility.
What You Will Be Doing - Contract Negotiations and Corporate Level Management of Product Ingredients including Packaging Film, Corrugate, Cooking Oil, CO2 & Nitrogen Gases, Plant Supplies and Employee Supplies
- Inventory Control
- Cash Management
- Management of logistics and customer service departments
- Forecasting
- Management over 6 other directors and managers plus whatever growth positions the future holds.
What You Need for this Position - BS degree with a Business Major (Accounting, Management, IT or Economics)
- 5 plus Years Experience as Purchasing Manager for Multi-Plant Food Processing Company(s)
- Previously attended minimum of 2 Purchasing Training Courses
- ERP & MRP Business Software knowledge and experience. Tableau and Excel
