Senior Embedded Engineer Rapidly Growing Optical Remote Sensing Co. Seeks Senior Embedded Engineer! Tucson, AZ!

We are a rapidly growing company that provides services to the aerospace and defense industry related to sensors & electro-optics! We've been in business for over 15 years, and as we grow our team, we are searching for people who want to build long-term careers with us!

What You Need for this Position An active US Government Security Clearance or the ability to obtain a Clearance (Current SSBI is preferred)
3+ years of experience on professional software development projects
Experience with C/C++ and Python
Working knowledge of Linux and version control systems such as git
Knowledge of hardware interfaces, timing diagrams and communications protocols
Knowledge of realtime operating systems (RTOS) such as VxWorks, RTEMS, FreeRTOS, and ThreadX (Plus)
FPGA development (Plus)
CUDA or other GPU development (Plus)
Bachelors degree in computer science/computer engineering with an engineering/math focus or other equivalent field of discipline
What You Will Be Doing Meet with clients and the software design team to determine software specifications
Create design goals and deadlines
Develop and maintain software for embedded platforms
Work with the hardware design team on requirements and parts selection
Implement and test the embedded system and interpret error reports
Fix bugs and optimize the system to meet performance requirements
Maintain software programs
Document software application values
