Overview / Responsibilities

Senior Engineer (BMA Solutions Inc., Houston, TX):

Responsible and accountable for the safe working environment and technical support of a team of engineers, analysts or technicians to exceed utilization targets, ensure client satisfaction and maintain positive morale executing design analysis for API 618 compressor analysis. Ensure that API 618 analysis projects are executed via established project management processes, as well as providing support and training to the team, building their technical analysis and reporting capabilities. Ensure on time delivery of the project, within scope and budget. Ensure administrative processes and systems such as time keeping, work instructions, scheduling, and documentation control are maintained. Ensure execution of projects meet the technical and quality standards and commercial requirements required by our business. Liaise with Vibration, Dynamics, & Noise (VDN) peers to manage projected resource requirements ensuring cost effective utilization of all personnel resources. Support the development and review of proposals and tenders, ensuring the submission reflects the correct company business process and capabilities, and meets the appropriate commercial thresholds.

Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.

Skills / Qualifications

Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Position requires:

• API 618 analysis at sufficient level to conduct technical review of other engineers work;
• Project management skills to ensure delivery of API 618 analysis projects on time and on budget;
• Pulsation/acoustic analysis software and tools (API 618 7.9.4.2.3);
• Mechanical analysis software and tools (API 618 7.9.4.2.4);
• Torsional analysis software and tools (API 618 6.7.1);
• ERP systems;
• Writing technical reports to clients; and
• API 618 analysis reporting requirements.
