Your new company

Our client is a prestigious Commercial General Contractor with offices in Irvine. The company has been in business for over 60 years and their project portfolio include Healthcare, Education, Offices, Faith-based, Retail, Science & Technology, and others.

They're currently recruiting a Senior Construction Estimator for their business line specialized in Special Projects, located in Irvine as well. Projects include both ground up, renovation and tenant improvement.

Your new role

As a Senior Construction Estimator, your mission will be the overall planning and management of estimating activities for specific construction projects, including preparation, interpretation, and presentation of estimates.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Review project plans, requirements and specifications.
• Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing.
• Review proposal specifications, drawings, attend pre-estimate meetings, analyze request for proposals to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.
• Meet and maintain bidding and work schedules.

What you'll need to succeed

Four-year degree and/or at least ten years of relevant experience within the same industry is required.

Ideally, you will have at least 8 years of experience as a Construction Estimator bidding in similar type of projects - special projects ranging from $1 to $10 million. However, you're encouraged to apply as well if you have at least 3 years of experience in such projects.

It is highly recommended to have a local subcontractor base.

What you'll get in return

The annual salary range for this role is 150,000.00 - 200,000.00 USD depending on the candidate's experience.
