RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Senior Front End Engineer in Pleasanton, CA or Plano, TX (2 days onsite per week) for 6 months+ contract with extension or CTH.Responsibilities:- Designing and developing the visual and interactive elements of user interfaces within email marketing campaigns to create engaging and effective email marketing materials
- User Interface Design: design the layout, appearance, and overall visual presentation of emails to ensure they are aesthetically pleasing and effectively communicate the intended message
- Front-end Development: write HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code to implement the designed interface into functional email templates; This involves ensuring compatibility with various email clients and devices to ensure consistent rendering and user experience
- Integration with SFMC or Adobe Platforms: Leverage the features and capabilities of SFMC or Adobe platforms to enhance email campaigns; This may include dynamic content insertion, personalization, tracking, and analytics integration
- Testing and Optimization: conduct thorough testing of email components to ensure they display correctly and function as intended across different email clients and devices; Also optimize designs and code for performance, deliverability, and user engagement
- Create user centered designs for software projects by considering customer feedback
- Design the UI architecture, interface, and interaction flow of new web and device software applications
- Create and evaluate interaction models, user task flows, screen designs, and UI details that promote ease of use and optimize the user experience
- Breakdown complex requirements and concepts into well thought visual designs and workflows
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science
- 8-10+ years of experience in software engineering/development
- Solid understanding of Web Page Development Process
- Ability to work in a cross-team environment
- Experience with one or more of the following: React, Angular, Vue, or something similar
- Strong experience with HTML and CSS
- Detail-oriented
- Self-starter with the ability to work proficiently both individually and within a team
- Adobe Creative Suite experience (or other designer tools)
- HTML, CSS and Bootstrap experience
- JavaScript skills
- Familiar with Less and Sass
- Understanding of responsive design and touch interface interaction techniques and be in sync with recent design standards and trends
- Ability to work collaboratively with developers, project managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure that designs are successfully created and implemented to achieve the user goals
- Experience creating UI specs & wireframes
- Flexibility and willingness to move from idea, to whiteboard, to execution quickly and provide choices to stakeholders
- Configuration management tools Git or similar
- Basic understanding of JavaScript framework experience (React, Angular, Vue)
- Expert skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, or any other design tools
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
