RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's growing client is seeking a Senior IT System Analyst/Administrator. We are working directly with the Hiring Manager.Summary:Responsibilities for the Senior IT System Analyst/Administrator will include supporting branch offices, Azure/AWS cloud resources across the organization. Additionally, the Systems IT Analyst/Admin will review design components and use their knowledge of information technology to solve business problems and identify ways that infrastructure needs to change to streamline business and IT operations.Duties:

• Senior IT System Analyst/Administrator will work with within a team and provide leadership in the design, deployment, and support of infrastructure systems and various projects
• Ensure technology is accessible and equipped with current hardware and software
• Provide recommendations for infrastructure needs
• As a Senior IT System Analyst/Administrator, you will make recommendations about purchase of technology resources
• Client is working to roll out a ticketing system
• Monitor security of all technologies
• Will manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
• Will be configuring, troubleshooting, optimizing, and managing common hardware/software technologies & protocols
• Define and document best practices and support procedures
• Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation
• Mentor or cross train team members on existing and new technologies

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS in Computer Science and/or Information Technology preferred or equivalent work experience
• At least 5-7 years related experience in the field of Information Technology
• Solid experience with Physical and Virtual Servers, Operating systems, Desktops, Remote access, and applications
• Extensive working knowledge of Servers and Storage for both physical and virtual servers
• Managing deployments/rollouts
• A solid understanding of LAN/WAN networking
• Group Policy design and configuration
• Strong Active Directory experience
• Hands on experience configuring, troubleshooting, optimizing, and managing common hardware/software technologies & protocols
• LAN Routing and Switching design, configuration, and troubleshooting (VLANs, IP Subnetting, 802.1Q trunks)
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Must be organized and can manage multiple projects of varying length
• Positive, self-motivated individual who can complete tasks independently
• Must possess: analytical and problem-solving skills; decision making skills
• Understands specialty equipment; Keeps knowledge up-to-date; Is a technical resource for others; Follows technology practices and standards
• Microsoft Certification (MCSE) or equivalent certification is a plus
• AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification is a plus
• Experience managing cloud environments such as AWS or Azure is a plus
• ITIL or ITSM experience is a plus
• DNS exp a plus
• Server management a plus
