Senior Manager, PeopleSoft Financial Application

Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Enterprise IT Applications is responsible for supporting, planning and leading back office and financial applications projects for the enterprise. The Manager understands the process performed by functional business areas and is proficient at leading these functional business areas with business process reengineering and large-scale IT deployment initiatives. The Manager thrives in an exceptionally fast paced environment that has equally high expectations of its leaders. This position sees the "Big Picture" and identifies and implements projects and products that have a widespread, business-wide impact. This role bridges the technical and business worlds and is accountable for driving the creation of internal business systems strategy for key business functions and the overall planning, execution and success of systems projects across the company. The Manager ensures the Enterprise Applications projects/portfolio are defined, supervised and communicated in a consistent and effective manner, incorporates effective change and risk management controls, and is responsible for the management of the demand management process.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provides direct leadership over the implementation of an enterprise suite of products and 3rd party applications that support the strategic direction of AMN.
  • Ensures and accountable for continuous strategic and operational alignment between all critical business systems and their user communities; serves as a link between internal users and customers and the EA organization.
  • Leads team to define, document and standardize business needs, business processes, flows and deployment.
  • Writes reports, documents and presents analyses, project status, risks and issues.
  • Identifies tasks and interrelationships to evaluate functional and multi-functional requirements.
  • Researches existing systems and procedures and make changes and improvise wherever vital.
  • Supports the business initiatives in design, development and implementation of plans to translate enterprise information system objectives into functional business systems.
  • Coordinates information/data changes that occur as part of system life cycle to ensure consistency.
  • Recognizes and identifies potential areas where existing policies and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed, especially regarding future business expansion.
  • Builds and owns the Enterprise Applications budget and provides input in the administration of related budgets.

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree | Preferred

Minimum Work Experience
  • 7+ years of Enterprise Application experience with handling projects with budget of $1 million spend.

Key Skills
  • Knowledge of PeopleCode, SQR, PeopleTools, SQL, Application Engine or other high-level programming languages.
  • Skills in team up to work across multiple collaborator groups to translate business strategies, initiatives, goals and objectives into project proposals.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts and break down sophisticated business problems into easily understood communications.
  • Leadership quality including the ability to empower, encourage, counsel and facilitate individuals and teams to take ownership and accountability for the goals.
  • Ambitious Leadership skills with deep understanding & practical application of organizational change framework that enables the continued transition of activities in alignment with AMN strategy.
  • Work Environment is typically performed in a general office environment.

Pay Rate
$153,500 - $182,500 Salary
Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
