As a Senior Manager on this team, you will be responsible for developing and driving comprehensive communication plans for multiple initiatives and being responsible for executing those plans. Job Description

As a Senior Manager on this team, you will be responsible for developing and driving comprehensive communication plans for multiple initiatives and being responsible for executing those plans. We are looking for a seasoned communication expert who has rich experience in explaining and promoting a variety of HR disciplines, including Compensation and Benefits, and who can bring a fresh perspective to communicating in a simple, clear and compelling way. As a member of the broader employee communications team, you will also support global response efforts affecting our employees and larger PayPal community due to world and social events.

What you will do:

•Work directly with subject matter experts to create employee-facing campaigns and a range of internal/external content to increase awareness and understanding of employee offerings, such as benefits, compensation, and recognition programs, as well as change initiatives

•Design and prepare strategic plans, and when needed, lead cross-functional teams and advise on potential internal and external risks and mitigation strategies

•Develop impactful internal communications to promote and drive adoption of initiatives and programs, with a strong propensity for storytelling

•Enhance existing and develop new engagement tactics to deliver effective communications to employees and people managers, leveraging a range of internal channels

•Keep key business partners and People partners informed of key initiatives, and partner with other internal communications partners to deliver integrated messaging across People-related programs

•Play a role in global employee communications network responding to global and large-scale events impacting employees and the broader PayPal community

•Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and partners within the business and functions

•Drive regular planning and metric reporting for communication campaigns and build a network of contacts across the company to keep a pulse on employee sentiment

•At times, after-hours and weekend work is needed in response to fast-moving world events and dynamic company shifts impacting our employees and the PayPal community

Qualities of the right candidate for this role:

•8-10 years of a mix of HR communications and change communications experience

•Excellent written communication skills and demonstrated ability to create compelling narratives, simplifying complex and nuanced information into succinct narratives and messaging

•Experience with large-scale HR programs at scale - both in strategizing and implementing communications

•Self-starter with strong project management and planning experience, with a close attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively; ability to deliver impact against multiple deadlines

•Highly capable storyteller and strong content producer with relevant technology skills including PowerPoint and content distribution tools

•Naturally maintains a view of the entire employee experience, not only the parameters of a program or initiative

•Has the emotional maturity to influence and drive alignment, demonstrating a strong understanding of organizational issues and challenges

•Able to build strategic working relationships; has exceptionalinterpersonal communication skills; comfortable working closely with, and providing counsel to, senior leaders

•Experience and comfort working within rapid-response communications to global events impacting employees and dynamic company events

•Comfortable in ambiguous situations in fast-paced environments
