Job Title: Senior Manager, People Policy & Compliance (Open to Location)

Slalom's Global People Team (GPT) seeks an experienced and dynamic People Policy & Compliance leader to join its growing team. This is an impactful opportunity to shape the future of the people compliance function at Slalom during an exciting time of growth and global expansion. This global role is responsible for the development of people policies, as well as leading compliance related programs. The People Policy & Compliance leader is both a hands-on and strategic role that provides expertise on all compliance-related matters, in addition to project leadership and delivery for people compliance programs. This role is critical in executing project initiatives, managing change, driving process improvement in close collaboration with the GPT Centers of Excellence (COEs), People Business Partners and Slalom Legal.

Compensation: The base salary pay range for this position in Seattle is $150,000 to $160,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and location. Please see below for information on Slalom benefits.

What you'll do:

  • Define and drive the people policy and compliance strategy to further build the capability
  • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of people policies and ensuring the policies and procedures are in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
  • Research and monitor changes in HR compliance requirements and proactively and collaboratively update policies and processes, ensuring successful implementation of changes across all stakeholders.
  • Partner with Slalom Legal and the GPT COEs on applicable policy and process changes.
  • Own the Slalom Guide to Life (employee handbook) and drive the cadence for updates
  • Lead the enhancements and delivery of Slalom's global compliance training to employees (e.g., Anti-Harassment & Discrimination, Anti-Bribery & Corruption).
  • Manage Slalom's Ethics Helpline and monitor the flow of reports and inquiries to completion, partnering with Slalom Legal and PBPs as needed.
  • Support new country global expansion efforts by partnering with other GPT team members to identify compliance requirements and enable adherence to local laws.
  • Drive the preparation and maintenance of required compliance reports, correspondence and records pertaining to regulatory compliance (i.e., EEOC, AAP) by partnering with third-party vendors (e.g., Outsolve) to ensure compliance efforts are met
  • Support responses to RFPs (e.g., sales proposals), and internal/external audits and assessments

What you'll bring:
  • Proven experience in HR specifically in HR Policy & Compliance related roles
  • Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state and local employment practices and regulations
  • History of success in project management, change management, stakeholder management, user training, and communications
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work collaboratively to drive and influence decisions and outcomes at all levels of the organization
  • Experience navigating ambiguity with ease while introducing the right level of structure
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
