Senior Manager, Process Analytical Technologies (PAT), Innovation Integration and Marketing, BioContinuum Platform

In collaboration with the Product Areas, Bioprocessing R&D, PS Services, and Biomonitoring, you will

  • Build and execute the Real-Time Release roadmap with a view towards integrating current client needs in the areas of inline, at-line, and offline monitoring; mindful of future needs to enable the facility of the future.
  • Define the requirements for sensors, consumables, digital and physical controls and services to enable more automated, integrated, and continuous processes.
  • Accountable for launch and commercial success of these products in the Bioprocessing and other Process Solution businesses.
  • Accountable for preparing and educating the market by defining the regulatory strategy into which these products and services fit.
Who you are:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or Sciences. A business degree is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in business, commercial or customer centric technical function,
  • Technical/Application Knowledge: Strong knowledge of cGMP processes and manufacturing of monoclonal antibody. Understanding of customer requirements towards monitoring process performance, product quality and safety
  • New Business Mindset: Ability to seek out and identify opportunities to provide solutions to customer's current or future needs; entrepreneurial spirit to explore new ideas and visualize what is possible
  • Business Savvy: Knowledgeable about all functional elements which are important for business success; understands key economic drivers and their effect on business.
  • Project Ownership & Management: Ability to take ownership for ensuring the desired outcome of a project and to establish and monitor the project milestones toward the objective
  • Strong analytical skills: including the ability to interpret business needs into application and operational requirements.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to 30%)
You will be responsible to:
  • Contribute to the development of a unified BioProcessing strategy to ensure readiness for Biopharma 4.0,
    • Develop and update technology roadmaps, informed by technology development, resource availability, and market needs.
    • Connect product roadmaps to BioContinuum™ Platform strategy
    • Work across technical disciplines & businesses to develop process analytical technologies (PAT) roadmap in partnership with R&D, Product Area, and strategy teams.
  • Create definition of potential new products and support business case development to advance BioProcessing capabilities in focus applications.
    • Think creatively to gain resources and commitment across a complex, matrixed organization to execute and delivery of the process analytical technologies (PAT).
    • Work independently to perform market assessments, financial analyses, and VOC research to quantify business opportunities and prioritize projects
  • Develop positioning, thought leadership, regulatory and marketing strategy for real-time release offerings with marketing managers & marketing communications partners
    • Work with go-to-market teams to develop training programs, sales enablement tools, and product performance metrics.
    • Act as a trusted and visible face of BioContinuum™ Platform team. Comfortable speaking about the holistic BioContinuum™ Platform strategy and present at conferences, customer meetings, webinars, and other public events.
