Twisted Pixel Games is looking for an experienced Lead Producer to join one of our amazing teams! The ideal candidate will have proven leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, a team-oriented, collaborative approach to development, excellent skills in project management, organization, and time-management, and can knowledgeably and effectively lead production in scheduling, budgeting, and business design to determine the best course for a team and their highly anticipated project. Producers work with the entire team to optimize the development process, solve problems, remove obstacles for the team, and facilitate communication. Above all, candidates will be results-driven, while also remembering that - we make games!

Senior Producer - Twisted Pixel Games Responsibilities:

  • Manage milestones and deliverables, addressing day-to-day production issues to allow the team to deliver on time and achieve the highest possible game quality
  • Work with Project Directors and with the Executive Producer to ensure deadlines are met and estimates are being provided correctly
  • Run the production pipeline of a broad area and consistently communicate with cross functional partners in providing schedules, timelines and help drive the overall project development plan
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect feedback, gather requirements, and break down large complex initiatives into manageable portions and actionable steps with proper estimated timelines and resources
  • Proactively identify gaps in development coverage, as well as minor and major risks, propose mitigation solutions, and escalate to Executive Producer and Directors all while executing against ambitious targets
  • Collaborate with Managers/Directors concerning personnel issues and team member individual growth, such as meeting task expectations, actively tasking individuals toward determined growth goals
  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to other producers, to ensure we are effectively auditing development plans and milestone goals, including tracking and mitigation of critical development risks and continuously improving our processes based on industry best practices
  • Help manage game related documentation and notes. Keep pages up to date with the latest information and communicate changes to the team
  • Responsible for keeping the team motivated and engaged through recognition, conflict resolution and relationship building
  • Play the game and test new mechanics in development to ensure they meet the quality standards set forth by the game team/directors to-date


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience working cooperatively with cross-functional teams
  • 5+ years of professional game industry work experience on various platforms
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional game industry experience
  • Shipped at least 1 console / PC /mobile title as Senior Producer
  • Experience working with different project management methodologies including waterfall, agile development, SCRUM or Kanban
  • Experience managing and mentoring direct reports
  • Experience with any modern project management software (Trello, JIRA, Clickup, etc..)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bonus Points: Experience working on a VR or AR product
  • Experience initiating and managing vendor contracts/purchase orders
  • Experience partnering with and managing outside vendors
