Purpose & Scope:



The Senior Product Manager, Companion Diagnostic (CDx) and Key Account Management (KAM) Marketing for zolbetuximab will be a key member of the brand team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to working with market research to develop deep customer insights around launching a novel CDx, developing and pulling appropriate CDx messaging into our HCP marketing materials and creating materials and programs for our KAM team to use with Key Customer accounts. This person is responsible for detailed execution of promotional tactics working in close collaboration with partners, including our CDx partner, the global team, the sales force, the Key Account Managers (KAMs), other members of the brand team, vendors, and internal partners across functions.



Essential Job Responsibilities:




* Prepare for the US launch of zolbetuximab in gastric cancer
* Implement marketing plans and critical initiatives to overcome business obstacles, drive market share, & achieve sales targets.
* Lead tactical execution of promotional strategy for CDx and KAM marketing initiatives. Collaborate with external and internal partners. Measure efficiency on an ongoing basis and recommend & implement changes accordingly.
* Serve as liaison with sales, sales leadership, KAMs, KAM leadership, operations and sales training in the implementation of CDx and KAM tactics across marketing programs to support successful field sales and KAM efforts.
* Work cross-functionally to build alignment across various internal & external stakeholders to meet overall brand goals.
* Ensure that materials and programs are highly effective and compliant by owning projects through the Medical, Legal and Regulatory review process.
* Manage outside agencies in the following capacities: project estimate development, time management, and execution of project components, management recommendation and assuring consistency with Astellas goals, direction, and ethics.
* Track and manage detailed budget for responsible tactics on a monthly basis



Quantitative Dimensions:



Sales Budget: Directly impacted by the number of critical strategic goals that are successfully addressed with appropriate and successfully implemented tactical solutions

A and P Budget: Directly impacted by the efficient use of resources including: management of vendors, negotiation for services both internally and externally and monitoring of budget.



Organizational Context:



While tactical execution is the primary responsibility of this role, the successful candidate will also demonstrate insights to generate ideas in alignment with the strategic plan. This position reports to the Director, Oncology Marketing. This position does not have any direct reports.







Qualifications:





Required




* Bachelors degree
* 8 plus years of marketing (>4 years) and / or relevant experience (i.e., marketing, health systems, diagnostics, sales, sales training, market research, etc.).
* Knowledge of oncology market
* Demonstrated ability to be a high level contributor or leader of a project, process or function.
* Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
* Proven ability to use analytical skills and critical thinking to diagnosis business issues and incorporate into development or adjustment of marketing plans
* Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize
* Demonstrates ability to influence peers and key team members within and outside the organization
* Ability to present complex issues to higher level management is a requirement.
* Ability to travel up to 30%



Preferred




* MBA degree
* Knowledge of and recent experience in managing a drug/CDx launch
* Knowledge of and recent experience around oncology biomarkers and companion diagnostics (CDx)
* Experience in Key Account Management (KAM) marketing
