Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer *Job Title*: Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer
*Job Location*: REMOTE
*Salary*: $140-180K DOE (benefits, retirement plan, time off, etc.)
*Requirements*:
1.) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
2.) 5+ years of recent professional software engineering experience using Ruby on Rails.
3.) Experience with ElasticSearch, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and/or Heroku is preferred, but not required.

We are a FinTech startup company that assists small business owners with their accounting needs! Due to recent growth, we are seeking an experienced Ruby on Rails Engineer to join our team. This position requires 5+ years of recent professional software engineering experience using Ruby on Rails. Experience with ElasticSearch, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and/or Heroku is preferred, but not required.

What You Will Be Doing - Using Rails 6+ to build, improve, and update the company's application.
- Writing/maintaining RSpec tests.
- Improving code/application functionality.
- Mentoring junior team members.
What You Need for this Position - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of recent professional software engineering experience using Ruby on Rails.
