RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a small to medium size client seeking a few Senior Software Test Engineers (SDET) for a global company in Tempe, AZ. We are working directly with the Hiring Manager. Competitive package is offered including base salary, annual bonus and stock/RSU's in the company.Responsibilities:

• Be part of a team that provides coverage of all tools
• Troubleshoot and resolve computer software issues, including embedded software for control systems
• Will be developing, testing and supporting the next generation software for machine control combining the latest design principles, robotics, machine learning, big data, UI design and algorithms
• Responsible to manage escalation calls with field support engineers and customers
• Manage customer software tickets: find root cause and recommend correction actions
• Work with QA to add replicated bugs to regression
• Travel to customer sites occasionally to support installations, training, and troubleshooting of products.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
• 5-10 years of software development in test (SDET) experience
• Automation test experience required but they are not hung up on a specific tools
• Experience in TestComplete or similar automation test framework
• Experience eith Team Foundation Server (TFS) is a plus
• Coding/scripting experience in one or more of the following: C/C++/C#/Python
• Experience with either medical, aerospace or semiconductor equipment is preferred
• Able to triage mechanical, electrical and software bugs is a plus
• Experience working with two or more from the following is preferred: software for machine control, Semiconductor Factory Automation, Multi-threaded applications, real-time software, device drivers or other interrupt driven software
