SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Solutions Architect to join our team supporting the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development and deployment of innovative solutions on a resilient global network. This position requires expertise in solution architecture and enterprise-wide IT services. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and multi-partner stakeholders to design and implement platforms that support emerging capabilities. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must possess and maintain current DoD Top Secret clearance and eligible for SCI access and NATO and ACCM read-on.

  • AWS or Azure Certified Architect Preferred.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative solutions that meet the strategic objectives of USSOCOM.

Provide technical expertise and guidance in the development and implementation of enterprise-wide information technology (IT) services.

Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.

Lead the integration and delivery of platforms to identify and transition emerging capabilities in support of mission enhancement and modernization efforts.

Collaborate with multi-partner stakeholders, including industry, academia, and non-traditional organizations, to capture full spectrum data coverage and drive innovation.

Support the transition of emerging solutions from pilot to enterprise scale for full implementation of approved projects.

Ensure the integration of services with USSOCOM processes and support work requirements across CONUS and OCONUS locations.

Collaborate with project teams to plan, develop, and test new capabilities before requesting official release.

Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor's instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output.

Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat and orderly condition to ensure safety of self and coworkers. Will report any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate supervisor and human resources. Will immediately correct any unsafe conditions to the best of own ability.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, or a related role.

  • Strong knowledge and experience in designing and implementing enterprise-wide IT services.
  • Proven experience in leading the integration and delivery of platforms to support emerging capabilities.
  • Experience collaborating with multi-partner stakeholders, including industry, academia, and non-traditional organizations.
  • In-depth understanding of cloud, mobile, and containerized environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Knowledgeable in the analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications.

Advanced knowledge and understanding of IT architecture principles, practices and procedures with ability to design, develop and implement infrastructure.

Knowledge and understanding of computer hardware, systems software, software development, systems architecture and integration.

Proficiency in document development with ability to implement a high degree of professional judgment and a clear understanding of the information to be communicated.

Ability to coordinate efforts with others for the timely and successful completion of projects and deliverables.

Ability to work well both individually and in a cross-functional team environment.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Exposed to general office noise with computers printers and light traffic.
