All Sogeti Prospective Candidates Must:

Possess a Bachelors and/or Masters Degree from an accreditedinstitution.

Be a US Citizen or a current permanent resident Green Card holder.Sponsorship now or in the future is unable to be provided for this role.

Be currently residing in the Chicagoland area. Non-localcandidates will NOT be considered as onsite will eventually be required.

Willingness to travel/commute and work onsite throughout theentire Chicagoland area possibly including domestic throughout the US, onceallowable and safe.

You will be focusedon building and maintaining data integration services and develop and testsolutions that allow extracting, loading, analyzing and organizing data. You willdesign data solutions using the MS SQL Server Integration Services platform. Youwill help to define enterprise needs and determine how to meet them, implementyour development plan and then test and debug systems to ensure efficiency andeffectiveness.

Weare looking for a bright minded, self-motivated, team player with a strongbackground and skilled with a high degree of intellectual curiosity andabilities with:

SSIS: Very strong with extensive knowledge and experience inwriting/developing and maintaining SSIS packages. Knowledge and experience insetting up SSIS server, including configuration security aspects, etc. Strongunderstanding and experience in data flow, ability to handle multipleinputs in SSIS like CSV, PSV, Excel (xlsx), string etc. Implementing businesslogic. Experience in consuming .NET or Java Components/APIs/Web APIs from withinSSIS. Interaction with third party ETLs (knowledge of Adeptia will be plus).

SQL ServerDatabase: Very strong with extensiveknowledge, experience and understanding of RDBMS database concepts &implementation. Experience and knowledge in writing, updating storedprocedures, ability to write complex queries, ability to understand databasearchitecture and data flow within and between databases. Experience with otherSQL Server aspects like (but not confine to) indexes, security, linked server,Synonyms.

Analytical Skills: ability to analyze and identify the defect area reportedby client/ production support tickets. Ability to understand complex businessprocesses & workflow, functional & technical process of application.Ability to perform root cause analysis on database as well as in SSIS package.Identify and resolve database related performance and/or other issues.

SSRS: Knowledge and experience in developing and maintaining SSRSreports.

Tools: TFS: Experience in using TFS as source code repository, agileboard, etc. JIRA and Confluence: JIRA is used for product support andenhancement ticket. Confluence is the document repository.

Methodology: Agile -Normal course of project execution is under Agile methodology. Hence knowledgeand experience to work in agile structure (Sprints, retrospectives, etc)

Technical SkillsRequirements:

10-15+ years' experience in software development.

7+ years' experience in developing SSIS packages, working with SQLServer database, strong understanding of RDBMS concepts, with ability tounderstand and write complex queries, stored procedures, analytical skills.

Experience in development and production support environment.

As a senior developer ability to work independently, highlymotivated self-starter and a good team player with ability to work underminimal supervision.

Ability to perform effort estimation, breakdown workload into MVP.

Strong Communicationskills.

Understanding of .NET.Ability to write .NET code will be added advantage.

Postgres and AS400/DB2 -just awareness will also suffice, as it is added advantage.
