We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Mobile engineer with an in-depth understanding of Android architecture, to join our dynamic fintech engineering team. Your expertise will drive the development of innovative features, ensuring high performance and security in our Android applications.

Job Description:

Your way to impact:

As a Senior Mobile Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing crucial features, shaping the Android architecture that underpins our digital payment solutions. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for staying at the forefront of mobile technology.

Your day to day:

  • Architecting Solutions: Designing and architecting robust and scalable solutions for our Android applications, ensuring they meet high-performance standards and align with the overall technical strategy.
  • Coding and Development: Writing efficient, maintainable, and reusable code in Kotlin and Java, bringing your expertise to the forefront in implementing complex features and functionalities.
  • Collaborative Development: Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to translate requirements into innovative and user-friendly mobile solutions.
  • Code Reviews and Quality Assurance: Conducting and participating in code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and knowledge sharing among team members. Contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes.
  • Problem Solving: Tackling challenges head-on, debugging issues, and implementing solutions to ensure the seamless functioning of our Android applications.

What you need to bring:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 10+ years of mobile development experience.
  • A deep understanding of Android architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Proven experience in designing and architecting complex features and functionalities for Android applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability
  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java programming languages. A track record of writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
  • Preferably, a background in the payment ecosystem, showcasing a familiarity with the unique challenges and requirements associated with secure and efficient financial transactions.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring junior team members, demonstrating the ability to guide and inspire others while fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.
