RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer (Cloud Services).Key Tasks:
  • Senior Systems Engineer builds and support the administration of cloud-based environments
  • Develops and executes code-based CI/CD deployment plans for new and existing infrastructure based on standards and best-practices provided
  • Develops and implements monitoring solutions that give greater visibility into performance and reliability of cloud environments
  • Collaborates with Development, Network, and Security groups and integrate their requirements in all environment build plans
  • Builds and maintains capacity plans to include cloud based deployments
  • Develops and implements technical efforts to design, build, and deploy cloud applications at the direction of lead architects, including large-scale data processing and advanced analytics
  • As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will deliver continuous integration and delivery pipeline and standards by enabling common DevSecOps tooling in cloud environment and providing development teams with the ability to execute builds, run tests, and deploy in automated fashion
  • Identify problems with systems and services and drives regular deployment of new versions of the systems and their subcomponents
  • Building and maintaining observability/monitoring for the application, monitoring key performance indicators, maintaining alerting, and continuously improving visibility
  • Drives decisions around periodic system validation and testing, service monitoring, and standing up new services/tools
  • Uses advanced knowledge and experience to identify strategies that increase system reliability and performance through on-call rotation and process optimization


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Kubernetes Admin Certificate (CKA)
  • AWS Cloud Certificates (associate level developer/architect/security/etc.)
  • 2+ years of AWS Cloud experience
  • 2+ years of experience building CI/CD pipelines
  • 2 years of Kubernetes Administration experience


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
