SAIC is seeking an experienced instructor and subject matter expert to support a new training program for the customer’s Technical Research, Development, and Engineering occupation.  In addition to teaching, the instructor will provide subject matter expertise related to the occupational skillset and help generate content and design class activities in conjunction with an instructional designer.  Initial work will revolve around content design and development of an onboarding course for the occupational cadre.  The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining the currency of course materials and conducting course reviews to gather feedback and implement adjustments to training material.  S/he will utilize project management skills to ensure effective course development and delivery.  The position is located in Chantilly.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Must have current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field and at least 10+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience working in the customer’s technical directorate and in particular in a Technical Research, Development, and Engineering job function.
• Successful experience as a project manager or COTR to provide subject matter expertise and guidance to course development activities.
• Must have demonstrated skills as a trainer, including experience providing instruction in a workplace or academic setting.
• Must have experience supporting the customer on planning, overseeing, and operating challenging programs.
