Koniag Management Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced Senior VTC Bridge Technician with a DISC Secret Clearance to support KMS and our government customer in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania.

Position Overview:
Audio Visual (AV)/VTC Technicians require excellent problem-solving and customer service skills, as well as thorough knowledge of AV/VTC hardware, software, and network connectivity.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Technicians must have expertise in scheduling, pairing, and operations of Polycom and bridge devices for large events.
  • Hands-on experience with debugging interoperation of VTC bridges and end points, as well as experience setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting AV equipment (displays, microphones, sound boards etc.).
  • Monitors VIP level meetings to ensure quality of services.
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining VTC endpoints; along with ability to install and configure VTC applications, system software and upgrades.
  • Prioritizes resources for bridge operations.
  • Maintains the VTC infrastructure though patching and upgrades as required. Provides STIGs POA&Ms and Change Requirement packages as required.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs hardware and network connectivity issues.
  • Removing and decommissioning old equipment and performing data migration to new machines. This position does require some lifting and hands on replacement of equipment.
  • Supporting AV requirements for Command events and ceremonies.
  • Responsible for maintaining, analyzing, and troubleshooting hardware, software, computer peripherals, and AV equipment.
  • Customer service advocate; assist employees via remote access, phone, or in person.
  • Mentor or train other AV/VTC Technicians, and in some cases other employees tasked to provide support/redundancy.
  • Performs root cause analysis and provides workaround documentation to Knowledge Management.
  • Maintains the VTC call schedule and calendar.
  • Schedule VTC sessions and coordinates reservations of VTC services with outside agencies for executive level users.
  • Requires excellent problem-solving and customer service skills, as well as extensive experience with desktop hardware, software applications, operating systems, and network connectivity.
  • Must be customer service-oriented and proactive in anticipating and resolving problems while maximizing efficient use of resources.
Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • 10+ years of work experience in similar areas and technologies as stated herein.
  • Certifications: Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND Network+, Polycom CE, SSCP
  • BA/BS in Business, Tech, Engineering, IT, or similar.
Working Environment & Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
