Paper Chemical Supply, a division of Imperial Dade, leading national distributor, is hiring a talented Service Technician Apprentice to join our Operations department in Savannah, GA!

The Service Technician Apprentice will be responsible for installing equipment and assisting customers by providing excellent service. Our service preventive maintenance for our customers who lease or rent dish machines, and also purchase chemical products for laundry, housekeeping, and kitchen applications from Imperial Dade.

Monday-Friday

Base pay $17/hr.

You will:

• Diagnose equipment failures in house or on-site repairs as needed.
• Keep current on service manuals and trade documents.
• Work with Procurement to maintain sufficient inventory levels to meet needs of customers.
• Physical count of inventory.
• Maintain and schedule preventative maintenance program.
• Log and respond to all customer calls on a timely basis.
• Cross training on troubleshooting equipment repairs.
• Drive company work van with trailer.

You have:

• High School Diploma
• Technical school training
• Mechanical experience
• Ability to lift, bend, squat, and crawl
• Ability to lift 70lbs
• Clear MVR
• High standard of workmanship and professionalism
• Good troubleshooting ability
• Excellent communication skills
• Understanding in principles of operation of dish machines and laundry machine functions
• Proficiency with computer applications and use, email, etc.
