Are you our next Apprentice Service Technician?

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an apprentice Service Technician to perform a variety of tasks while learning to Inspect, Test, and Maintain portable gas detection instrumentation, fire equipment and respiratory equipment.  You will learn to perform inspection, testing and maintenance on all types of engineered fire protection, and fire extinguishers.  You will also inspect, test and maintain respiratory life support equipment and make sure that instrumentation is maintained properly to manufacture’s standards.

 

 

 

Qualifications

• Must have strong mechanical skills
• Current Motor Vehicle License with good driving record
• Proficient with hand tools.
• Able to complete repairs and maintenance of equipment in a timely and accurate manner
• Able to provide assistance, advise and training to Vallen associates and plant personnel.
• Must be have good customer service skills
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills
