Shift - Monday-Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM

Pay Rate Range - $17.50 - $18.00hr.

Overview:

The primary responsibilities for the Shipping Clerk will be handling all outbound warehouse operations. The activity is conducted in a working manufacturing environment where safety and caution must be the primary focus.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Examines outgoing shipment paperwork to ensure shipments meet specifications for delivery and ensure accuracy.
  • Enter shipping information and instructions in the FedEx computer systems, as instructed by the supervisor.
  • Arrange appropriate transportation of products, and follow up on shipping status
  • Assist customers with shipping inquiries
  • Prepare the reports with supervisor's instruction
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Requirements Include:

  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing warehouse shipping and receiving operation position or distribution in a similar role.
  • excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Must be detail orientated
  • Strong Problem Solving
  • Bilingual Spanish and English is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • High School Diploma/GED

  1. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, speak, hear, and comprehend. The employee is required to stand for extended periods; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms daily. The employee must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly from floor to waist, waist to chest, twist and turn, push and pull loads using a pallet jack. Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to adjust focus.
