We are seeking a full-time Logistics Coordinator to join our shipping team at our Insulfoam Plant in Mead, Nebraska. This individual will work in collaboration with the Transportation Manager performing general shipping & receiving functions, clerical support, and provide back-up as needed. This position will also interact with our sales and customer service teams; vendors, trucking companies, customers and corporate personnel. The typical hours for this role are 6:00am - 2:30pm.

Starting Pay: $20.00, could increase based on experience + benefits starting day one.

Key Reponsibilities:

* Completes the SAP transaction life-cycle of all orders from end-to-end.
* Daily & weekly filing of shipment folders, pick orders.
* Process directions for all shipments on a daily basis.
* Contacts customers regarding orders/shipments due.
* Communicating with Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) in-person and via phone and email.
* Splitting trucks/materials.
* Monitor the office window and direct drivers to the correct location for loading/unloading.
* Assist Customer Service with all requests, including notification of changes to shipments (backorders, truck full, etc.)
* Distribute work assignments to warehouse personnel.
* Receive inbound materials into SAP, print storage unit labels when needed, file inbound paperwork and resolve receiving discrepancies via Readsoft.
* Complete order confirmation calls daily, verifying all pertinent customer details/requirements. Communicates any changes to traffic team immediately and updates system.
* Provides backup support to the Transportation Manager.
* Accept and engage in assignments, as business and operational needs dictate.
* Operate all machines, equipment, tools, and devices safely and per Standard Work Instructions, Rules, and Regulations.
* Complete 5S Assignment per expectation.
* Complete Housekeeping Assignment per expectation
* Participate in department work groups.
* Pack or repack material as directed.
* Apply required labels, stickers, markings.
* Other duties as assigned.

* High School Diploma or GED
* Minimum 2 years of administrative experience in a fast-paced, high volume warehouse environment.
* Computer skills; Microsoft office suite, SAP, SFIS.
* Strong Verbal and Written Communication skills
* Strong time management and organization skills
* Knowledge of safety practices required when working on the warehouse floor.
* Able to competently perform task requiring SAP transactions.
* Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
* Writing - Recording of cycle counts.
* Participate in Safety programs and Department work groups.
* Problem solving skills.

Physical Requirements:

* Ability to lift up to 60lbs
* Sitting for long periods of time
* Constant use of hands for typing, applying lables, etc.
* Standing & Walking on cement warehouse floor for extended periods of time.
* Ability to manipulate inventory items in order to get accurate counts.
