PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Packages finished goods and other parts and accessories for shipment. Routinely operates lift trucks in performance of the job.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Unload, check, move and store materials in assigned locations using established procedures measuring, counting, and part verification.

• Ensure that products are shipped to customers in accordance with customer and company specifications and verify that paperwork is correctly filled out and accompanies shipment.

• Report any discrepancies in receiving/shipping paperwork.

• Report shortages, errors, and damaged components to the assigned area supervisor.

• Drive or operate lift trucks used in load/unload, moves and shipping.

• Alert area supervisor to pending material or component shortages.

• Participate in inventories and other related assignments.

• Train other material handlers.

• Maintain clean and safe work area.

• Perform other related duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience: Two (2) + years experience in production/materials. Must possess ability to read instructions, perform basic math, use basic measuring instruments (tape) and perform the varied duties of the department. Must be able to consistently lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
